End-of-Semester Reflections

This class has been my favorite so far at UM. I have a new found interest within game design, and it is all thanks to you and this class. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I think about all the stuff we learned throughout the semester when playing games. Whether there is a refuge for the player to sit in or a vantage point. Visual language, and how important that is. I've noticed more in games. Creating beat maps and paper prototypes I now understand more how useful they really can be. Making a white box is also so valuable and having the skillset/knowledge to start there rather than jumping to trying to make a "finished" level. Almost forgot about Lynch's 5 elements when designing a space or player environment.
